The stamp of the "Burumaru Rikishi" on the reverse side is a mark of authenticity—proof that this is true selvage denim, woven on a traditional gravity loom. The signature R embroidery has been plant-dyed in Edo Kobicha, a deep brown so full of character it’s said to be as seductive as a flirtatious glance. Over time, it will fade gracefully alongside the denim itself.
Woven from resilient Zimbabwe cotton, Futatabi 6.5 denim has a firm texture and a rugged, uneven surface that reflects the material’s natural character. The stitching emphasizes not lines, but points—each one confident and intentional.
